Mexico's largest convenience store brand is continuing its massive U.S. expansion with a new location heading to El Paso.State filings reveal plans for a $100,000 commercial renovation project located at 4950 Hercules Avenue in El Paso County.
Following parent company FEMSA's major acquisition of Delek's DK convenience stores across Texas and New Mexico, the retail giant is actively rebranding these locations into signature OXXO stores. This specific 2,269-square-foot project will fully convert the existing Alon/DK convenience store at this address into a brand-new OXXO.
The scope of work involves a complete interior overhaul, including realigning the retail counter, upgrading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, adding a new ADA-compliant restroom, and installing all-new OXXO-branded finishes for the flooring, ceiling, and lighting.
Construction on the Hercules Avenue store conversion is scheduled to begin this fall on October 19, 2026, targeting a quick two-month turnaround with completion expected on December 18, 2026.
