State filings reveal plans for a $1.5 million commercial construction project located at the southwest corner of Highway 287 and Highway 67 in Midlothian. The 4,601-square-foot project involves the complete ground-up construction of a brand new McDonald's restaurant, which was confirmed by the listed property owner, McDonald's USA LLC. This new development will bring an incredibly convenient stop for classic burgers, fries, and McCafé drinks directly to the busy interchange of two major Texas highways.
Construction on the new Midlothian McDonald's is scheduled to begin early next year on January 11, 2027, targeting a five-month build-out with completion expected by June 10, 2027.
