What's happening with McDonald's in Princeton

Princeton, Texas: MCDONALD'S PREPPING $1.5 MILLION NEW RESTAURANT ON EAST LUCAS BRANCH ROAD
The Golden Arches are adding another location in Collin County with a brand new restaurant coming to Princeton!
State filings reveal plans for a $1.5 million commercial construction project located at 9465 E. Lucas Branch Road (also known as FM 3286). The 3,779-square-foot project involves the complete ground-up construction of a new McDonald's restaurant. Because the filing specifies that the private funds are not being provided by the tenant, it indicates that a property developer or landlord is funding the actual construction of the building for McDonald's to lease. This new location will bring a convenient stop for classic burgers, fries, and McCafé drinks to the fast-growing area south of the main Princeton drag.
Construction on the new Princeton McDonald's is scheduled to begin early next year on February 2, 2027, targeting a roughly five-month build-out with completion expected by July 7, 2027.
