NEW BRAUNFELS: NEW WINE BAR COMING TO "THE GÄRTEN AT GRUENE" MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT
A highly anticipated boutique, mixed-use development near the Gruene Historic District is officially getting its very own wine bar!
State filings reveal plans for a $675,000 commercial construction project located at 1563 Gruene Road in Comal County, acting as a part of the larger development known as The Gärten at Gruene.
The project involves the ground-up construction of a 2,879-square-foot wine bar. The scope of work outlines a complete build-out for the new establishment, adding an inviting space to sip and socialize right in the heart of the new 3-acre project being developed by local residents Kyle and Meredith Brant.
The Gärten at Gruene is designed to complement the area's historic charm with eight planned buildings housing locally owned businesses, including restaurants, a coffee shop, retail, and office spaces.
Construction on the new wine bar is scheduled to kick off in the spring on March 1, 2027, targeting a twelve-month build-out with completion expected by March 1, 2028.
We do want to point out that this is not an official render. If we do receive one we will provide an update.
