State filings reveal plans for a massive $2,250,000 commercial construction project located at 12300 North Freeway, listed under the Greenspoint North development. The sprawling 45,750 square foot project involves the ground-up construction of a new retail shell building to serve as a future Fitness Connection. The scope of work details the complete new building structure along with necessary property site improvements and dedicated fire department access.
While Fitness Connection currently operates a gym space attached to the mall at 12300 N Freeway (Suite 200), this new multi-million dollar filing points to the construction of a brand-new, ground-up facility on the property footprint. Fitness Connection locations typically offer expansive turf training areas, full basketball courts, women's workout areas, Kids Club centers, and large group fitness studios.
Construction on the new ground-up Fitness Connection shell building is scheduled to kick off this winter on December 10, 2026, targeting a ten-month build-out with completion expected by October 11, 2027.
