What's happening with American Kolache in Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi, Texas - NATIONAL BAKERY CHAIN 'AMERICAN KOLACHE' PREPPING $220,000 DEBUT TEXAS LOCATION ON NORTHWEST BLVD
The fast-growing St. Louis-based bakery brand American Kolache is officially bringing its signature sweet and savory dough pockets to Texas, picking Corpus Christi for its highly anticipated state debut!
State filings reveal plans for a $220,000 commercial construction project located at 14202 Northwest Blvd, Suite A103. The 1,307-square-foot project involves an extensive interior tenant build-out of an existing shell building to make way for the new bakery. The scope of work includes a full interior remodel, adding new partitions along with updated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to support the brand's grab-and-go operations.
American Kolache has been rapidly expanding out of the Midwest, recently opening its first East Coast shop in Virginia earlier this year. Known for its wide variety of flavors ranging from traditional fruit and cream cheese to massive savory breakfast and lunch kolaches, this new location will mark the brand's very first foray into the Texas market.
Construction on the Corpus Christi American Kolache is scheduled to kick off this fall on November 2, 2026, targeting a quick two-month turnaround with completion expected right after the new year on January 11, 2027.
