Colleyville, Texas: LITTLE DIGGERS PREPPING $400,000 INDOOR SANDBOX PLAYSPACE ON COLLEYVILLE BLVD
A unique indoor play concept is bringing a massive sandbox experience to Colleyville!
State filings reveal plans for a $400,000 commercial renovation project located at 5600 Colleyville Blvd (Suite J) in Tarrant County. The 4,500-square-foot project involves an interior build-out to transition an existing suite into "Little Diggers," a rapidly growing franchise of indoor sandbox playspaces designed specifically for children under 7. The scope of work includes the demolition of existing structures, the erection of new walls, comprehensive electrical and HVAC upgrades, and the construction of the centerpiece itself: a massive indoor sandbox.
Little Diggers is known for its construction-themed play areas filled with specialized, silica-free sand imported from the Bahamas. The facility will offer a comfortable seating area for parents with full sightlines of the sandbox, free Wi-Fi, and party rooms. Construction on the new Colleyville playspace was scheduled to begin on September 28, 2026, targeting a very quick turnaround with completion expected by November 6, 2026.
