What's happening with CRISPY CONES in Austin

SHARK TANK DESSERT BRAND "CRISPY CONES" COMING TO AUSTIN:
A popular, nationally recognized dessert chain is bringing a unique sweet treat to East Austin!
State filings reveal plans for a $310,000 commercial renovation project located at 3900 Berkman Dr (Suite 103) in Travis County, right in the heart of the Mueller neighborhood.
The project will build out a 1,200-square-foot space for Crispy Cones, a rapidly growing dessert brand that gained national attention after successfully pitching on Shark Tank. The scope of work involves a full interior finish-out to create a custom dough preparation area, a commercial kitchen, and a front-of-house dining and service space.
If you are unfamiliar with the concept, Crispy Cones specializes in fresh dough pastry cones (inspired by traditional Czech trdelník) that are grilled rotisserie-style, coated with cinnamon sugar, and then filled with gourmet soft-serve ice cream, fresh fruit, spreads, and various sweet toppings.
Construction on the new Austin shop is scheduled to begin later this year on December 1, 2026, targeting an almost six-month build-out with completion expected by May 25, 2027, perfectly timed for next summer's ice cream season!
